Flanged Hillside Washers for Metal Building Cross-Bracing
Flanged hillside washers help distribute loads evenly in metal building cross-bracing applications. Cable assemblies with welded eye bolts or threaded rods support the steel beams and wall columns of metal buildings .
These washers are designed to support fastening at different angles, allowing for faster installation and easier field adjustments. Their beveled profile helps accommodate angled or non-parallel connections while maintaining a secure bearing surface.
Many flanged hillside washers feature a beveled or curved surface on one side and a flat surface with an integrated flange on the other. The flange increases the bearing area and helps distribute the load across the web and rod without requiring a separate welded plate.
This design can improve structural stability, simplify installation, reduce adjustment time, and help limit vibration that could contribute to loosening over time.
