Pencil Rod Clamps

Pencil rod clamps are essential components in concrete forming applications, especially in scenarios where lightweight or "lite" concrete is being used. These clamps are typically made of cast grey iron, which is renowned for its strength, durability, and resistance to wear and tear. They are designed to securely attach smooth or deformed pencil rods to tie forms, allowing for the creation of sturdy, temporary formwork systems. The rod is clamped secured with the set screw in the rod clamp assemble.

Nail holes are provided to affix the clamp to the wales. Pencil rod clamps are available in two common diameters, 1/4" and 3/8", which provide versatility for different formwork requirements. The choice of diameter depends on the specific application and the thickness of the concrete structure being formed.
